In this project, I was trying to reconstruct image from noisy one without losing much detail information in it. In Gonzalez amazing book, they provide a method named Backprojection to reconstruct image. What I did is to implement this method and design new scheme to raise result. In this project, I uses Radon + Hamming as an improvement scheme.</div>

can see clearly that Radon+Hamming filter give good results. Noises present in
original image has been eliminated kinda successful. Simple back projection
give bad result, surrounded by white circle because its image complexity. In
simple Backprojection we do ordinary image rotation and give cubic
interpolation while in radon hamming we used radon coefficients to as image
rotation. We use hamming to eliminate noises present in image. So it gives nice
image better than by simple backprojection. But still result of both process
give kinda blurred image. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

What I dealt on this project was to design quite good system to recognize faces under dark and dim light condition. Until now, light condition around objects (faces) to recognize is still an open problem. Many scientist is still observing better way to resolve it. This is a master thesis project. Accuracy and recognition speed are main issue to consider in the development. Improvement has to be developed based on the two base papers. So, the idea is not too choose or design new method for feature extraction and recognition, but more to design scheme for pre-processing steps. When we are dealing <br />
<a name='more'></a>with such problems, where lighting quality becomes big issue, we can simply normalize the image contrast into new contrast frame, so every time we input new image with different contrast the system would be able to recognize the face. Some papers used Gamma correction (monitor concept) to be implemented to whole image at one time. I think the best solution is to implement contrast enhancement to small window. In this research, window size based on Quadtree and Fix Sized has been tested. The best result is by using Fix Sized window but threshold of local contrast that i used is based on entropy value of each image. For feature extraction and classification, i use simple methods which are LBP and KNN. I this research, by using 45 images in training and 180 images for testing we can cover faces up to 97% of for all dark light and dim light categories.</div>

Brief Exp:<br />

This project was intended to retrieve image(s) from large image database based on its content. Features extraction was developed based on 2-D level-1 wavelet filtering toward image texture and colors. Training was developed based on ensemble training to multi layer neural network. This kind of training method is new for me and quite interesting to explore. I found that its quite good to be implemented to other cases. Result shows that feature extracted for this project could fetch similar images based on one image as an input. Could be used as basis to next development as well as adding improvement to it.<br />

One thing that I like from matlab is the parallel computation ability. It can improve time consume for processing especially in image processing application. You should check them out before simplifying conclusion!<br />

Penelitian ini menguraikan bagaimana mengenali tutur dari pembicara (speaker dependent) dengan menggunakan algoritma MFCC sebagai ekstraksi ciri dan ANFIS untuk klasifikasinya. Projek ini dikerjakan bersama dengan dosen fisika sehingga pekerjaan ini terkait dengan pemanfaatan konsep fisika, elektronika dan pengolahan isyarat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, diharapkan bisa menghasilkan sebuah sistem (Hardware dan Software) untuk mengukur kepadatan endapan darah sehingga bisa digunakan sebagai deteksi dini penyakit yang<br />
<a name='more'></a>bisa dicirikan oleh kepadatan endapannya. Ada 3 jenis hardware yang diuji coba, yakni menggunakan LDR, menggunakan pengubah tegangan ke frekuensi, penggunaan speaker sebagai sinyaling outputnya. Hal ini terjadi karena pengambilan data dilakukan secara realtime menggunakan komputer dimana input untuk program diambil dari analog input komputer. Sehingga perlu disesuaikan hardware dengan jenis output yang tepat untuk analog input pada komputer, misalnya terdapat blocking capacitor pada rangkaiannya sehingga arus/tegangan konstan (dc) akan diblock. Sejauh ini program bisa membaca dengan baik dan cukup stabil ketika beroperasi.<br />

Projek ini bertujuan untuk membaca barcode EAN-13 dari beberapa jenis produk yang diambil menggunakan kamera biasa dengan beberapa keadaan seperti jarak yang jauh dan dekat, cahaya yang kurang dan cukup, ketajaman (fokus) kamera terhadap objek, kemiringan barcode yang dideteksi dan lainnya. Dicoba untuk membuat algoritma yang mampu melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan diantaranya:<br />

Diharapkan algoritma yang dikembangkan bisa digunakan untuk pengolahan secara realtime. Tetapi perlu optimalisasi agar waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam pengolahan terutama deteksi barcode bisa lebih singkat.<br />

Keterangan: Dalam penelitian ini diteliti beberapa jenis data statistik dari isyarat ECG lalu dipilih mana yang bisa memberikan performa optimal. Ciri statistik diambil dari hasil rekontruksi isyarat setelah dikenai Wavelet. Beberapa ciri statistik digunakan sebagai masukan untuk klasifikasi menggunakan SVM (Support Vector Machine). SVM pada dasarnya berfungsi sebagai binary classifier, jadi diberikan trik agar kelas yang jumlahnya lebih dari dua bisa diklasifikasi hingga optimal. Kernel pada SVM juga diuji, sehingga dipilih RDF sebagai kernel optimal. Dibawah ini screenshot dari aplikasi yang dibangun.<br />
